body of work
8-weeks on
harmonizing the energetics and the strategy
in your business
hi.
i’d wager a guess that you’re here because you feel the call to love your work more deeply, serve your people more completely, and fully express all that you have inside of you to share.
and after ten years of business ownership, there is something i know to be irrefutably true.
if your business fails to strike the balance between energetics and strategy, it can’t grow sustainably. and neither can you.
what this lack of balance can look like…*
significant fluctuations in your monthly income
worrying that “people won’t get it” if you fully express yourself
a constant feeling like you’re not able to “break through” to the “next level” of your business
knowing that something is “off” in your business, but not being sure of what it is
loss of energy or creative momentum in your business
doubting your ability to know what to do next, no matter how many successes you’ve had in the past
falling into negative spirals of despair, scarcity, comparison, impatience, or imposter syndrome
an uncomfortable pressure you can’t stop putting on yourself to “succeed” or “perform”
difficulty forgiving yourself for any mistakes, real or perceived
struggling to discern who to trust as your coach, who to work with in terms of clients, and when it’s your intuition or your fear speaking
*please note that everyone’s business is different, and so is everyone’s heart. use your discernment to know whether or not you see yourself reflected in this description.
hi, i’m rae.
if you’d told me 15 years ago that i’d be where i am now — having lived in seven countries, happily married, owning our home, traveling regularly, and earning hundreds of thousands of dollars helping people i really respect doing work i love — i wouldn’t have believed you.
don’t get me wrong. it’s not because i didn’t think i’d be able to create a life for myself. but it was because i envisioned a very, very different life than the one i’m living now.
looking back i can understand that so many of my most desperate desires were born of some of the most wounded, unfulfilled parts of myself. the part of me that needed so badly to be seen wanted fame. the part of me that always feared i was “too much” wanted a passionate, tempestuous kind of romance that i could lose myself in. and the part of me that never believed i could be successful on my own terms thought that i just had to choose one city, stay put, and wait for life give me a chance.
as painful as it was to shatter those illusions, beneath the broken pieces, i was able to reconstruct myself. to treat myself with tenderness and reverence, and to build a life and a business that continues to allow me to thrive.
since starting my coaching practice four years ago, i have maintained consistent 6-figure years without compromising my integrity, burning out, or sacrificing a rich and full life. because i’ve learned to bow to what’s alive in me. this language, bowing to what’s alive in me, is what i use to describe a process of learning to listen to and trust myself, not only my mind but also my body, to guide me in making choices in my work.
and if you like, i can open the door for you to explore what that looks like for you, too.

body of work is an 8-week experience that allows you to strengthen the dynamic tension between energy and strategy that your business requires to expand and that you require to feel fully alive.
at the end of our time together, my intention is that you will have:
a more connected relationship with your body, not only as the sacred vessel that carries you through this life but as an access point for guidance and inspiration
deeper trust in yourself and your intuition
greater skill in discerning the difference between fear and intuition and how they feel in your body as well as how they show up in your work
increased clarity regarding the foundations of your business, namely closing any “gaps” in your offer suite and ensuring that your prices and policies are aligned for you
feeling confident in who you’re speaking to when you create content and offers
owning your expertise so that you can begin to dissolve imposter syndrome
a collection of diverse practices you can return to again and again whenever you need them

questions
-
a new module will be available each week. you may choose to attend live or to watch the replays, although it is strongly recommended that you attend live. you will have access to the replays and the group even after the course has finished.
-
body of work divides the time between body-based practices and teaching or discussion, making it much different than my other offerings. a new body-based or meditative practice will be offered every week followed by lessons on: offer creation, messaging, marketing, policies and boundaries, launch strategy, and money mindset.
-
before coaching, i was a yoga teacher and massage therapist for several years. i’ve studied a variety of movement practices and breath-based practices through my work as a professional actor and singer. you’re welcome to email me to ask for further details, but rest easy. this is very much in my wheelhouse.
-
yes. you are strongly encouraged (but not required) to attend live or watch the replays in a timely manner because i will answer all questions asked throughout the course (so long as they are relevant to the course topic).
-
yes. this is a course that examines different aspects of business ownership and content creation, as well as movement and somatic work. those who are just starting will receive a wealth of information and inspiration to help make some of the decision making in business a little easier.
-
absolutely not. if you’ve got an established business, you already know the energetic work it takes to maintain your business, as well as maintain your connection to your body, your heart, and your intuition. while this will give you a wide variety of fresh perspectives and ideas, it will also allow you to reclaim and expand your energy moving forward.
-
yes! broadly speaking, being a freelancer versus an entrepreneur is sometimes a matter of mindset, other times a matter of tax or legal distinction. either way, if you offer services to others or if you’re an artist, you’re welcome to join.
-
while i can never tell you what’s right for you, you’re welcome to email me to give me any relevant information about your work to determine whether or not body of work is for you.
-
coaching is never a substitute for therapy, and my work is not trauma work. that said, mental illness exists on a spectrum. some will find this course to be helpful. others may not. my “baseline” requirement is that in order to participate, you’re able to regulate your emotions and hold yourself through any big feelings that arise. one positive aspect of body of work is that you’ll be able to go at your own pace, skip over anything, or come back to things later when you have bandwidth.
-
please email me to let me know what you need, and i will tell you whether or not that is possible.
-
no. which is why i strongly suggest using your discernment and only joining if you’re fully committed.
-
no worries! i’m glad you’re being discerning. email me and let me know what you need.
