coaching is a sacred and intentional space to step into a state of expanded possibility.

all coaching (with me) includes talking to one another, understanding patterns and beliefs that arise, questioning them, and discerning how i can help you move from where you are to where you want to go.

additional work varies from client to client. depending on your willingness and interest, our work together may be more akin to that of a mentor-mentee relationship (in the case of something concrete like starting a business) or it may be more fluid and conversational. for longer term coaching commitments, it is typically a mix of both.

i may suggest breathwork, meditation, journaling, and other modalities to support you if you are open to it.

all coaching calls, 1:1 or group, are recorded so you can refer back to them.

the skills and tools i've learned in coaching have completely and radically changed my life. coaching taught me, not what to think, but how to think. how to examine myself and the world around me, how to believe in change, and how to take action in the direction of the life i wanted to create. coaching didn't save me. but it taught me to save myself.

that said, it's evident that interlocking systems of oppression exist, and as a result, we live in a wildly unequal world. "changing your limiting beliefs" will not dissolve capitalism or eradicate racism. it is at best naive and at worst harmful to say otherwise.

however, whether you want to move toward revolution or get a small business off the ground or feel better in your body, the obvious fact remains: how you think impacts what becomes available to you. coaching cannot make inequality go away, but it can give you tools to thrive within our existing world while orienting ourselves toward a new and more just one.

yes. i have a life coaching certification. i also have taken courses or certification programs in yoga, meditation, working with autistic and ADHD clients, working with LGBT clients, nutrition, and other related topics.

but i want to be transparent with you. coaching is an unregulated industry. so having a certificate doesn't mean very much. in fact, the most popular life coaching certifications are typically connected to MLMs (multi-level marketing companies) behind the scenes, and i have yet to personally find a program i recommend (which is why i don't often talk about it).

coaching is not a substitute for therapy. it is not trauma work. and in the event something is out of my lane, i will say so explicitly, and i will let you, the client, know what i can provide. (i.e. "i'm not qualified to speak on this, but i am happy to listen.")

i urge any prospective client to think deeply before investing, to discern for themselves the risk they are willing to take, and to take actions that honor their best judgement.

you deserve a coach who meets your expectations, whether or not that's me.

while this is a common criticism i see thrown at coaches and other service providers, this lacks material analysis.

i am a socialist. i am also a human being who exists under the conditions of capitalism, and i deserve to live a dignified life. (so do you. so does everyone. it's literally why i'm a socialist.)

i do not own any means of production. i sell my labor for income. the things i do with the resources i have benefit myself and my family of course, but also causes that are in alignment with my politics.

at the end of the day, if you want to find a cheaper coach, you are more than welcome to do so.

i only offer refunds in the event that i have failed to deliver on what i've promised in terms of the number and duration of calls.

if, for any reason, you are unwilling or unable to finish a payment plan, our agreement together will be terminated without penalty, and should you pay your balance, it will be reinstated.
